GIVEAWAY!

The Bachelor Girl's Guide to Murder Giveaway!!!!!!!
I had so much fun reading this book!  And I think you will to! ;)

Book Description:

The Bachelor Girl's Guide to Murder (Harvest House, April 2016)

In 1910 Toronto, while other bachelor girls perfect their domestic skills and find husbands, two friends perfect their sleuthing skills and find a murderer.

Inspired by their fascination with all things Sherlock Holmes, best friends and flatmates Merinda and Jem launch a consulting detective business. The deaths of young Irish women lead Merinda and Jem deeper into the mire of the city's underbelly, where the high hopes of those dreaming to make a new life in Canada are met with prejudice and squalor.

While searching for answers, donning disguises, and sneaking around where no proper ladies would ever go, they pair with Jasper Forth, a police constable, and Ray DeLuca, a reporter in whom Jem takes a more than professional interest. Merinda could well be Toronto's premiere consulting detective, and Jem may just find a way to put her bachelor girlhood behind her forever---if they can stay alive long enough to do so.

  1. No, I haven't read the prequel, but I'm glad to find out that there is one, so I read it first. Thank you, and thanks for the giveaway. (I did join the site a while back).

    1. I read it before starting "The Bachelor Girl's Guide to Murder" and then found "A Singular and Whimsical Problem" actually is kind of in the middle of TBGGtM. So you can read it before or after! :) I LOVED getting to know the characters a bit ahead of time though. There's also going to be a 1.5 in between (or maybe in the middle again) of "The Bachelor Girl's Guide to Murder" and "A Lesson in Love and Murder". Thank you for entering KayM!

  3. I haven't read the prequel. I like the cover of this book and the idea of two young women trying to make a name for themselves as detectives in Edwardian Toronto. Thanks for entering me in the giveaway. I'd love to win!

  4. I haven't read the prequel yet --I thought I had downloaded it but I just checked and it's not on my purchase history ... I've definitely been keeping an eye on this one --I love The Artful Detective (a.k.a. Murdoch Mysteries) which is also set in Toronto at the turn of the 20th century, so lady detectives in a similar setting ... it just sounds so good --plus that title!

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

    1. Oh bummer! :/ I wonder why it didn't go through.

It is highly entertaining! :) YES Murdoch! :D We've watched a few episodes so far and I would say it's a little different than this series, but being with Merinda and Jem alone would make it different!

And the title is fabulous in an of itself! :D It sure grabbed my attention when I first saw it! LOL!

      I think you'll enjoy it!

      Thank you for entering! :)
