Caitlyn's Christmas Wish Review!!!

Caitlyn's Christmas Wish by Laura L. Walker

Book Description:
Right Family, Wrong Brother - Just when former model and single mother Caitlyn Drevier Reel feels like she has her life back on track after a divorce and a six-month stint in rehab, her ex-in-laws extend an invitation to spend Christmas with the family. After all, Caitlyn reasons, her ex-husband Grant is constantly on the road traveling with his band and it's only fair to allow them to get to know her young son. What Caitlyn isn't prepared for, however, is the attraction she feels for Ridge, Grant's older brother, or the wonderful sense of belonging to their family again. Ridge, who has recovered from his own personal struggles, seems to feel the same way and as they work together to make the Winter Festival that his parents have organized for their small town in Wyoming a success, Caitlyn begins to envision a bright future. But will Grant's unexpected arrival at this family get-together spoil their Christmas cheer? Caitlyn's Christmas Wish is an inspirational romance novella that will have you reaching for a mug of hot cocoa and get you in the holiday mood.

Laura L. Walker grew up in a large family in the beautiful Gila Valley of southern Arizona. From the time she was young, she spent hours drawing characters on paper and fantasizing about their adventures. Life became more serious, however, when she met her own hero at Northern Arizona University and they later became the parents of six children. In between spurts of grocery shopping, sewing costumes or quilts, transporting kids to practices, and making dinner, Laura still enjoys putting her imagination to good use. She is the author of two contemporary romances, Pierced by Love and The MatchupCaitlyn's Christmas Wish is her first novella.

My Opinion:
Sweet Read!  This is a nice read for the CHRISTmas season with a unique and different plot!  I loved the family, and the characters back grounds are very interesting!  And I absolutely LOVED some of the last scenes!!!  I do wish it had been a little longer though.  Some of it felt a little rushed, and I didn't want it to be over so soon! ;)  There were times the characters seemed a touch too trusting or naive.  But the messages of CHRISTmas and the hope of redemption shine bright at the heart of this tale! :)

Song: "What Child Is This? (First Noel Prelude)" from Francesca Battistelli and "Eye of the Storm (feat. Gabe Real)" by Ryan Stevenson
