A Thrill of Hope
Christmas is a time of hope—not because you hope for a certain present, or for a day or two off from work. Christmas is filled with hope because it proves life doesn't have to stay the same.Christmas proves that God is in control of human history and that He has a plan. God interrupted the flow of events with the birth of a child—our Savior, who stepped out of heaven to pay for our sin and who promises to return to rule and reign with those of us who have been cleansed from sin.
This hope is summed up in one song we hear so often during this season, "O Holy Night": "Long lay the world in sin and error pining, till He appeared and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn."
I've met a lot of atheists and agnostics, and I've had a lot of conversations with them. Most of them are not filled with hope. The most hopeful people I have ever met are the most spiritual people. They are by far happier and more confident. Even when the world isn't what it should be, even when things don't work out, spiritual people are still hopeful. Psalm 42:5 says, "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God." When the world falls apart, we know that we can hope in God.
Worldly people like to mock those of us who are spiritual. They say things like, "You need to live in the real world." And my answer is simply this: "We do live in the real world. We face all the same things you face. We live in the real world, but we also know there's a world beyond this one."
When the Bible speaks of hope, it is not some dream or fantasy. In the Bible, hope simply means truth that hasn't yet happened. Hope looks forward to what you know is going to happen.
In Hebrew, the name Jesus is Yeshua, which means "God is salvation." Remember what the angel said: "[Mary] will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21).
So, salvation isn't something you do, like a set of teachings or a code of ethics. Salvation is in a person, and His name is Jesus. Without Him, there is no salvation, as the author of Acts said, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (4:12).
Realize the baby came not for Christmas presents or for a day off work or for a chance to get together with family. The baby came to become our Savior—to give us hope.
I pray the manger would lead you to the cross and that God puts in you a hope that things can be different for you, not just now in this life, but throughout all of eternity.

Review: Beneath His Silence

Lovely debut!
LOVE the characters, they are so beautifully authentic, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the little boy.
LOVE the touches of humor!
LOVE the dialogue!
LOVE the pacing though at times it was a little on the fast side, and I felt like the movement between characters perspective was unique in it's frequency, I dare to say I kinda liked it.
And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Faith scenes.
There are a few things that could have been a tad different to my preference but really the only thing I could say that I missed within this story is a moment when one of the characters heard Jesus' voice speaking to them. His silence is the major theme in the story I know, but in the end a whisper from the still small voice when the characters finally came to the end of what The Lord was coaxing them to would have been most satisfying!
Still this is a unique entertaining debut read showing great potential from the author.

Cross and Cutlass: Why Do the Nations Rage?
Psalm 2 KJV
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

In my daily Bible Readings, I often come across a Scripture(s) that fits perfectly a current situation in my life. It could be an answer to a question I have asked the Lord. It could be something I need to hear concerning my behavior or attitude that displeases the Lord. 😧 It could be encouragement and love! (My favs!) But sometimes it's just the Lord showing he that He knows what's going on in the world, nothing is catching Him by surprise, and He's got this! This is why I encourage all of you to spend time each day in the Bible. Don't know what to read? Start at Genesis and read until the end of Revelation. Or read one or two chapters in the Old Testament and 1 or 2 chapters in the New each day. However the Lord leads you. "But I've already read through the Bible" you might say. My answer is.. the Scriptures are alive. I guarantee you will find new revelations each time you read. Anyway, part of my reading on Friday was Psalm 2 and I sensed the Lord wanted me to share it with you.
Why are the nations in an uproar in turmoil against God,
And why do the people devise a vain and hopeless plot?
The kings of the earth take their stand;
And the rulers take counsel together
Against the Lord and His Anointed saying,
“Let us break apart their divine bands of restraint
And cast away their cords of control from us.”
Are nations in an uproar today? Are they all fighting against God? I would say, yes, more now than ever before in History. We have an organization called the World Economic Forum (closely tied to the UN) whose main spokesman, Yuval Noah Harari says that God is dead. He says that "we don't need the God of the Bible. Jesus is dead. We are just waiting to get rid of the body." He says "humans are hackable animals" and most of us are useless. He said that man can create much better things than God can, and that we can become gods ourselves. As alarming as this man's words are, we know most governments kicked God out long ago. However this recent global government (which will take over the world) not only wants to get rid of God, but to replace Him. (Antichrist actually means Instead of Christ) They want to "break apart divine bands of restraint" and remove all of God's control over them.
To us reading and learning about this trend, it seems alarming, but here in Psalm 2, God laughs at them. Laughs!
He who sits enthroned in the heavens laughs at their rebellion
The Sovereign Lord scoffs at them and in supreme contempt He mocks them. Then He will speak to them in His profound anger
And terrify them with His displeasure, saying,
“Yet as for Me, I have anointed and firmly installed My King
Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”
He not only laughs at them. He mocks them! Then He will terrify them and remind them that He has put a King in Zion (and it ain't them)
Who is that King? And what will He do?
“I will declare the decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are My Son;
This day I have begotten You.
‘Ask of Me, and I will assuredly give You the nations as Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth as Your possession.
‘You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall shatter them in pieces like earthenware.’”
He is the Son of God, Jesus, our Messiah. And it is He who will rule the world and break these rebellious nations with a rod of iron!
Then God gives these nations some wise advice
Now therefore, O kings, act wisely;
Be instructed and take warning, O leaders judges, rulers of the earth.
Worship the Lord and serve Him with reverence with awe-inspired fear and submissive wonder; Rejoice with trembling.
Kiss, pay respect to the Son, so that He does not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For His wrath may soon be kindled and set aflame.
Kiss the Son! I love it.
And last but not least
How blessed, fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God are all those who take refuge in Him!
That's you and me if we are true followers of Jesus! See that? Blessed, Fortunate, prosperous and favored.
So, I ask you, why are you afraid of these silly nations, silly leaders, silly rulers and judges who threaten to rule the world and get rid of God? ( The UN, WHO, EU, WEF, and our own governments). If God is laughing at them, maybe we should too. He not only laughs at them, he scoffs and mocks them! So, don't be afraid. We are children of the Most High and He's in charge, in control, and He knows everything they are doing and He's already got a plan to destroy them. In the meantime, we are safe in His Mighty Arms!

Cross and Cutlass: We are in the Wheat Harvest Season! Fascinating fa...: Happy Shavuot!
I found some fascinating facts about Sivan, which is the current Jewish Month that began on May 30th and ends on June 30th. My hope is that this information will bless you and encourage you as much as it did me!
-The Month of Sivan is called the Month of Revelation - I couldn't help but think of the Book of Revelation when I heard this!
- Sivan 2 is called the "Day of Distinction" since on this day the Jewish people agreed to accept the Torah at Mount Sinai, and upon ratification, Moses instructed the people to prepare themselves to become a "Kingdom of Priests and a Holy Nation". (Exodus 19:6-8). Hmm, what does that remind you of? Aren't Christians also called that very same thing in Revelation 5:10?
-Sivan 3 Moses instructed the people to spend Three Days preparing to receive the Law, the 10 Commandments that Moses would bring down from the top of the mountain. These 3 days are called the "Days of Separation". I found that interesting since Jesus said He would return on the third day to call up His Bride, and during our separation, we are to sanctify ourselves and separate from the world. The giving of the Law was a marriage contract between God and the Jews, just like Jesus's death and resurrection are a marriage contract with us!
-Sivan 6, Moses comes down the mountain with the 10 Commandments and the Jews call this day Shavuot or Pentecost, which took place 7 weeks after they left Egypt. What's fascinating about this is that it is customary to read selections from the Torah ALL NIGHT until dawn. It is called "Rectification for Shavuot Night" , a remedy for Israel's failure to be awake on the morning of the Revelation and who needed to be aroused by the blast of the shofar, heavenly lightning and thunder. I immediately thought of the parable of the 10 virgins where they all fell asleep but half ran out of oil and were not able to come into the marriage feast when the shofar blew.
- Shavuot, according to Jewish sages, is the "culmination of the experience of Redemption", which started on Passover. Isn't the Rapture equally a culmination of our experience of redemption that began with Jesus's death and resurrection on Passover? I got goosebumps when I read this!
- Wheat is harvested in Sivan in Israel. Jesus often used wheat to represent His children, those who believed in Him and followed Him, (John 12, Matthew 3, Matthew 13)
- The Hebrew letter that represents Sivan is Zayin, the 7th letter of the Hebrew Alphabet.. Zayin has a double meaning: It means sword or sharp weapon, but it also means sustenance or nourishment. Interesting because the rapture brings both.
-Ruth is the book of the Month of Sivan which is also known as the Book of Harvest. The entire story is about a gentile bride marrying a Jewish man.
- The tribe of Zebulun is the tribe representing the month of Sivan. Zebulun was the sixth son of Leah, the tenth son of Jacob. The meaning of Zebulun is “Glorious Dwelling Place”, but is also closely related to the word meaning “dowry” or “wedding gift”.
- Sivan is only named by name in the Book of Esther in Esther 8:9. In context it was the month when a degree went out from the King that allowed all the Jews to fight and defend themselves from anyone attacking them on the day that Haman had decreed all the Jews would be destroyed. Interesting that after the Rapture or very near the Rapture, Israel will be attacked by the surrounding nations in the Gog-Magog war.
- When Jesus describes the rapture in Matthew 24, He says "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left." Only wheat is ground in the mill, not barley. So at the time of the rapture, a harvest is taking place! Also in that same chapter, Jesus says that the rapture will happen "as in the days of Noah"... as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark," It occurred to me that June is traditionally the month of weddings, isn't it?
I guess my point is to not lose heart. Keep the faith. Keep strong. Keep praying, reading the Bible, following Jesus. Don't fall asleep or run out of oil! This could very well be the month of our rescue!

Cross and Cutlass: Jesus is not a Wife Beater!:
Please, I mean no offense at the title of this post, but it speaks louder than words. Of course I am referring to the Bride of Christ and Jesus's soon snatching away of His Bride to escort her to the Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven. The Bride is, of course, all true Saints and followers of Jesus who love Him and long for His appearing!
I get an email now and then from some well-meaning person telling me that either there is No rapture or that the rapture of the church happens at the end of the Tribulation. The last email I received told me that the rapture was a lie invented by the Freemasons. I have heard others say that the pre-tribulation rapture theory was introduced and propagated by theologians in the 1800s and that it is not Biblical. Still, I've had yet others tell me that it's ridiculous to think that this last generation of believers would be spared Tribulation because saints throughout the past 2000 years have suffered horribly for their faith. Why should we think we would not have to suffer?

However, when a pastor I listen to (Pastor Patrick Winfrey) on You tube said that "Jesus is not a Wife Beater", it really stuck with me and I wanted to address this fact, along with some new information I discovered about the early church fathers.
First of all, we know from Revelation that the Tribulation is going to be the worst time Earth has every experienced.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:21-22
Just in the first half of the Tribulation with the 4 horseman, a quarter of the earth's population is killed. That's 2 Billion people killed from starvation, plagues, and war. After that, when the Antichrist comes into full power, billions more are butchered. Why? Because those in power want only 500,000 people to remain on earth to be their slaves. They state as much in their literature and on the Georgia guide stones! In addition, anyone not taking the Mark of the Beast or even claiming to follow Jesus will have their heads chopped off. And that would be the best way for them to die. Some will be crucified, others burned alive, others tortured. So that by the end of the Tribulation, barely any people will be alive.
So, I ask you, would Jesus do that to a Bride He is about to marry? The Tribulation is not like any other time on earth. The argument that those Christians living in this time shouldn't get a free pass from suffering because all the other Christians living throughout the ages have suffered is like saying you're going to take one child and torture them for 7 years and then burn them alive only because your other child caught the flu.
If you know your Bible or have at least read through it once, you are well aware that the rapture is in there. No, not the word Rapture, but the concept of being "snatched away" out of this world by Jesus to meet Him in the clouds. (1 Corinthians 15, Matthew 24, 1 Thess 4, to name a few)
So we know there's a rapture. It's the timing that is often questioned. So did the Pre-Trib rapture start with a Freemason lie? or was it started by some misled theologian in the 1800s?
Recently I came upon a book called The End-Times by the Ancient Church Fathers, by Ken Johnson Th.D. I haven't finished it yet, but in the book, Dr. Johnson goes through 4 of the early church father's writings on end times.
Irenaeus, born in Smyrna in AD 130. He was a student of Polycarp (who was a student of the Apostle John!) and he testified that he occasionally spoke to the very old apostle John himself.
Justin Martyr - born in Israel in AD 100. He was also a student of Polycarp
Hippolytus Born in AD 170 and was a student of Irenaeus
Ephrem the Syrian Born in AD 306. He studied under those who knew Christians who had studied under the Apostles.
ALL of these early church fathers believed in a pre-tribulation rapture. ALL. I especially point out Irenaeus who actually had spoke to the Apostle John. Please do your own study and find out for yourself. But to say that the Pre-trib rapture is a modern false doctrine is flat out wrong.
I have one more thing to say to disprove that the rapture occurs at the end of the Tribulation. When Jesus returns to earth and sets His feet on the Mount of Olives, the Bible says He fights the Antichrist and his armies in the valley of Armageddon, (Revelation 19) and then he judges the people left on earth.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:30-34
Well, if there was a rapture at the end of the Tribulation as Jesus is descending to earth, then the remaining saints on earth would be caught up with Him, only to descend right away back to earth. Then why would there have to be a judgement after that? Wouldn't the rapture already separate the sheep from the goats? Just saying....
The point of this post is to encourage you because I know our enemy will come in and try to convince you that the rapture isn't real or that it doesn't occur until the middle of the end, but that is just not true and not Biblical. So, rest in the hope that soon we will see our King face to face! We are not in the Tribulation yet. In fact, what we are suffering now is nothing compared to what the Tribulation will be like.
Jesus loves you more than His own life. He proved that on the cross. He will not leave you. He will not allow His precious Bride to get beat up and killed. What good husband would? So, hang in there, keep the faith, rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and spread the Good news of the Gospel. We are going home soon!

Please, I mean no offense at the title of this post, but it speaks louder than words. Of course I am referring to the Bride of Christ and Jesus's soon snatching away of His Bride to escort her to the Wedding of the Lamb in Heaven. The Bride is, of course, all true Saints and followers of Jesus who love Him and long for His appearing!
I get an email now and then from some well-meaning person telling me that either there is No rapture or that the rapture of the church happens at the end of the Tribulation. The last email I received told me that the rapture was a lie invented by the Freemasons. I have heard others say that the pre-tribulation rapture theory was introduced and propagated by theologians in the 1800s and that it is not Biblical. Still, I've had yet others tell me that it's ridiculous to think that this last generation of believers would be spared Tribulation because saints throughout the past 2000 years have suffered horribly for their faith. Why should we think we would not have to suffer?

However, when a pastor I listen to (Pastor Patrick Winfrey) on You tube said that "Jesus is not a Wife Beater", it really stuck with me and I wanted to address this fact, along with some new information I discovered about the early church fathers.
First of all, we know from Revelation that the Tribulation is going to be the worst time Earth has every experienced.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:21-22
Just in the first half of the Tribulation with the 4 horseman, a quarter of the earth's population is killed. That's 2 Billion people killed from starvation, plagues, and war. After that, when the Antichrist comes into full power, billions more are butchered. Why? Because those in power want only 500,000 people to remain on earth to be their slaves. They state as much in their literature and on the Georgia guide stones! In addition, anyone not taking the Mark of the Beast or even claiming to follow Jesus will have their heads chopped off. And that would be the best way for them to die. Some will be crucified, others burned alive, others tortured. So that by the end of the Tribulation, barely any people will be alive.
So, I ask you, would Jesus do that to a Bride He is about to marry? The Tribulation is not like any other time on earth. The argument that those Christians living in this time shouldn't get a free pass from suffering because all the other Christians living throughout the ages have suffered is like saying you're going to take one child and torture them for 7 years and then burn them alive only because your other child caught the flu.
If you know your Bible or have at least read through it once, you are well aware that the rapture is in there. No, not the word Rapture, but the concept of being "snatched away" out of this world by Jesus to meet Him in the clouds. (1 Corinthians 15, Matthew 24, 1 Thess 4, to name a few)
So we know there's a rapture. It's the timing that is often questioned. So did the Pre-Trib rapture start with a Freemason lie? or was it started by some misled theologian in the 1800s?
Recently I came upon a book called The End-Times by the Ancient Church Fathers, by Ken Johnson Th.D. I haven't finished it yet, but in the book, Dr. Johnson goes through 4 of the early church father's writings on end times.
Irenaeus, born in Smyrna in AD 130. He was a student of Polycarp (who was a student of the Apostle John!) and he testified that he occasionally spoke to the very old apostle John himself.
Justin Martyr - born in Israel in AD 100. He was also a student of Polycarp
Hippolytus Born in AD 170 and was a student of Irenaeus
Ephrem the Syrian Born in AD 306. He studied under those who knew Christians who had studied under the Apostles.
ALL of these early church fathers believed in a pre-tribulation rapture. ALL. I especially point out Irenaeus who actually had spoke to the Apostle John. Please do your own study and find out for yourself. But to say that the Pre-trib rapture is a modern false doctrine is flat out wrong.
I have one more thing to say to disprove that the rapture occurs at the end of the Tribulation. When Jesus returns to earth and sets His feet on the Mount of Olives, the Bible says He fights the Antichrist and his armies in the valley of Armageddon, (Revelation 19) and then he judges the people left on earth.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:30-34
Well, if there was a rapture at the end of the Tribulation as Jesus is descending to earth, then the remaining saints on earth would be caught up with Him, only to descend right away back to earth. Then why would there have to be a judgement after that? Wouldn't the rapture already separate the sheep from the goats? Just saying....
The point of this post is to encourage you because I know our enemy will come in and try to convince you that the rapture isn't real or that it doesn't occur until the middle of the end, but that is just not true and not Biblical. So, rest in the hope that soon we will see our King face to face! We are not in the Tribulation yet. In fact, what we are suffering now is nothing compared to what the Tribulation will be like.
Jesus loves you more than His own life. He proved that on the cross. He will not leave you. He will not allow His precious Bride to get beat up and killed. What good husband would? So, hang in there, keep the faith, rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and spread the Good news of the Gospel. We are going home soon!

Warn my people. Those who don't believe in the rapture but who instead believe I will come when the church has conquered the world. Be warned: When the world claims a Messiah is come, it is not me. When the world tells you that the "bad" people have been removed and they twist Scripture to confirm it, it is a lie!!
I received the Word above early in the week from the Lord. I will add to it that it is very dangerous to not believe in the rapture and to believe, instead, that the prophetic events in Matthew 24 and Revelation have all been fulfilled. When the "messiah" appears, it will be so easy to believe he is Jesus. They will twist Scripture (as they already are doing) to make you believe that all the evil people were removed. This is the deception coming on the world. When the rapture happens, many will believe the narrative that aliens kidnapped people who were holding back the evolution of man. Christians who did not believe in the rapture or in prophecy and who don't know their Bible will believe that the Antichrist is Jesus and they will be utterly and completely deceived.
Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Matthew 24:40-41
Do your homework and look up the word "taken" and "left" in the Greek
"Taken": paralambanō means to receive near, i.e. associate with oneself (in any familiar or intimate act or relation) It is to join that person with yourself as a friend.
"Left" aphiēmi to send away as in a husband divorcing a wife
Now for this week's events. I would say that things are much the same as last week only getting worse. Hey, that sounds like the birth pains Jesus described at the end! Anyway, we have Covid now on the rise. Apparently NYC has raised their Covid alert to High. Biden's administration is also warning of recent rise in covid cases. In addition, The German Supreme Court rules compulsory vaccination against Covid in the health care sector is constitutionally justified. Add to that, a smallpox threat and monkeypox, and I'd say the 4th horse of the Apocalypse is ready to ride!
We are closer than ever to the Digital 666 System. They are already rolling it out in Iran and using it for food rationing. Mastercard has developed a facial recognition program which allows you to pay with a smile, and the EU is planning a digital Euro. Of course this will be fully implemented in the Tribulation. Everything will be tied to your digital identity and they will reward and punish you through it as I discussed last week.

You may or may not have heard about the
Dirty bomb drills ongoing in Austin as intel surfaces that terrorists plan to use cobalt-60 in explosive suicide vests. Seems they are preparing for the worst. And yes, the war continues in Ukraine with Russia continuing to threaten to use nukes on the world. Putin has moved nukes to the border of Finland in response to their bid to join NATO. In addition Russia is getting more active in Syria and even fired upon an Israeli jet, causing an escalation of the conflict in that region. China, not wanting to be left out, threatens the US over Taiwan as plans to invade have leaked.
Things in Israel continue to grow more and more violent as Israel with US aid, plans a massive drill to practice an attack on Iran. The Israeli government is all but collapsed as Jerusalem day approaches on May 29th. A parade is planned and yet violence is expected to explodel Keep your eyes on Israel, God's endtime clock.
Here in America, Congress held a meeting about UFOs in which several reliable pilots and naval personnel submit evidence of hundreds of UFO sightings and several encounters. More will be revealed to the public later. They are getting us ready for the Alien invasion that will explain away the rapture!
And of course, let us not forget the coming famine, which every government, including the UN is warning is coming. Of course, this is a famine they have engineered. It is the communist way. Control people by food. Already in some countries there is a shortage of food, causing unrest and riots. Stock up.
I would be remiss if I did not mention the great Falling away of Christianity and the church here in the west. Not sure where people who believe in a Great Revival get their information, but it doesn't appear to be happening. Yes, God can do anything! But the Bible prophesies a great apostasy of the church and that the character of religious people will become highly immoral and evil (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

It is my personal belief that we are months, if not weeks away from the rapture. At the rate that evil is growing. At the rate that prophecy is unfolding, I cannot see how God could leave His Bride here much longer. Add to that, that the fig tree generation is now at 74 years and Jesus said that generation would not die off before ALL things were accomplished. I've been watching for my Lord's return for 20 years, seriously for at least 5, and I've never ever seen things all converge as I see today. I say that to encourage you! We are all struggling with life. As I was relenting my problems to a friend of mine, he gave me some good advice. We are already seated in heaven with Jesus. Keep our eyes on Him and on our eternal home and whenever something bad happens here, think of it as just an event that will soon be gone. It's not important. It doesn't matter. We are almost home!

Cross and Cutlass: Outlandish Love! Words from the Lord!: Dear Saints.
As I was praying to the Lord what He wanted me to write today, I kept sensing that He wants me to encourage you. If you're like me and you've been watching for His return for awhile now, it's easy to get frustrated and even disappointed on the rapture roller coaster that never seems to end! We get into this trouble when we rely on man to give us dates instead of just keeping our eyes on Jesus. We also get ourselves into trouble when we constantly keep watching the news and see all the evil growing and growing and we allow our enemy to whisper doubts in our ears.
It's easy to forget how much the Lord loves us. I know, for myself not having an earthly father and growing up insecure, it is often difficult to actually believe Jesus loves me. We each know our own faults and shortcomings and let's face it, we often wonder who, in their right mind, would love us? But the truth of the matter is, God adores us. The love of God is completely different than human love, which is always conditional and selfish. God loves us just because, and it has nothing to do with our character, qualities, or actions. In this day and age when there are so many threats surrounding us, it's important to remember that, because if we can truly believe in God's love, we will not be afraid.
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 1 John 4:17-18
If you look around you at the encroaching evil and are afraid, then God's love is not perfected in you, which means you harbor some doubt about God's love. If you truly understood and believed in His Love for you, you would have NO fear. Why? Because that kind of powerful love allows no evil or harm to touch the object of that love. If we could only grasp the deapth, width, breadth and height of God's love!
I watch a pastor on You tube who has a prophetic ministry. I've been watching him for years and I know he hears from the Lord. Recently the Lord gave him several Words to extend to the Bride, those who will be raptured, so I will pass them on here;
First of all, the Lord said His love and grace are Outlandish! This pastor said he would have never used that word, but the Lord was clear. Outlandish is something strange or bizarre or alien, which means that the Lord's love for us is something so immense, so immeasurable that the human mind cannot comprehend.
Other words from the Lord I believe you'll find comforting
"I have kept you in my heart until the end"
"I have already gathered you, you just don't see it until you get to the house."
"As for my bride, I say, Come up here!"
"Keep looking for the rising of the Son, for the rapture is near, even at the door."
We see the evil rising around us. We see signs of the coming Tribulation already being formed. If you know your Bible, there is no doubt that we are close to the rapture. So, what should we do now?
The Lord wants you to trust in His Love. No matter what comes, no matter what you see. Trust in His Love and that He is coming for you!
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39
Get up each day, give thanks and praise to God, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in your tasks. One of these days, (and soon) that trumpet will sound and our Prince will rescue us from this evil world!

Cross and Cutlass: Friday Musings: Come, My People, Enter Into The W...: Still think we aren't living in the very last days? The Very very last days. If these Globalists get what they want, much of humanity will soon be dead either from war, famine, or pestilence. Wait. that sounds exactly like what the Bible says in Revelation 6
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. verses 2-8
By the end of this fourth seal, a quarter of the earth's population will be dead. That's TWO BILLION people. Think about that number.
WE ARE SEEING SIGNS OF TRIBULATION NOW! We are seeing pestilence, quakes, famine, and war. We are seeing the One World Government and One World Religion rise. We are seeing the Mark of the Beast technology already being implemented. We are seeing unfathomable immorality.
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:18
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Revelation 3:10
19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. Isaiah 26:19-21
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. Isaiah 57:1
The Hebrew word for “taken away” is “asaph” which means to “hide in a place of safety” and is a common agricultural phrase describing storage of crops at final harvest.
God has promised His faithful Bride that she will NOT suffer His wrath, that Satan will never overcome her, that God offers an escape to those who are counted worthy and who persevere. The entire Bible is about a wedding, about a Father who seeks a Bride for His Son. Jesus used "wedding" language when He spoke to His disciples about His return. The Jewish wedding lasts 7 days. Daniel spoke about a final week or period of 7 years called Jacob's Trouble, in which God would turn His full attention back to His chosen people, Israel.
Please check out the articles under Prophecy below. Things are heating up in Israel like they never have before. Russia, Iran, and Turkey are issuing warnings to Israel. (Ezekiel 38) Hamas is actively rioting on the Temple Mount. Rockets have been fired, people killed. It's a big mess. This, to me, says that God is starting to deal with Israel again very soon. Which means the rapture is closer than ever!
So, hang in there, Saints!! The main thing now is that you keep pursuing a close relationship with Jesus. Pursue holiness and be in prayer constantly. Be ready to witness to anyone the Lord leads you to. Don't get weary. Keep running the race. We are almost at the finish line!
