The Burning of Rosemont Abbey Naomi Stephens
A MUST READ!
This has quickly made it towards the TOP of My Favorite Books of All Time List! It is SO good I long for this to become a series and return to these characters again and again! Maybe a follow up with the leads getting married and a mystery around their wedding and then another with them married! LOL! Sadly I think it's a stand alone, but it's better than a favorite tv show and you just want more and more! I LOVE THE HUMOR, it has a GREAT MYSTERY, GREAT ROMANCE, and ABSOLUTELY GREAT CHARACTERS!
The only negative for me is that I would have liked more Bible verses and maybe some more prayers, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THE VICAR AND HE BRINGS THE BEST FAITH SCENES! But as I was reading it for the second time in a row I realized why I wanted MORE prayers: The characters relied on their own strength and ability too much and needed to pray and rely on God's strength and guidance more.
Overall this is such a unique plot, with hilarious and wonderful character dialogue, and a fantastic twisty mystery that keeps you turn page after page. You'll want to read this one again and again or at least I will...and have! <3

Never Forgotten by Hannah Linder
HANNAH HAS DONE IT AGAIN! This twisty story keeps you hopping until the end! Throwing you right into the characters lives and troubles all you can do is try to hang on and keep up as each new layer is revealed! The pace is FAST and exciting! I've always loved Hannah's pacing because every scene matters and nothing is wasted. You are NEVER left with a feeling of "Why is that scene in there? It had nothing to do with the story and was just filler." OH NO! EVERY scene has purpose! She makes you feel like you are in the very skin of the characters, feeling every emotion. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE how she keeps her characters moving so when or if they miss something important to the mystery and even though I, as the reader, picked it up I don't feel like the characters are blind or not smart enough for catching it. If they miss anything they have a GOOD REASON! LOL! I will say a warning here and hope you don't consider it a spoiler alert, the book description alludes to it so I don't think it is, but there is a fire scene. I don't particularly like fire scenes myself and I know they can REALLY bother some people so I wanted to make sure people know ahead of time and are prepared. Once again Hannah's story is SO FULL AND COMPLEX I'm rereading it RIGHT after finishing it, it's just that good to! ;) I particularly love reading it again knowing who's the good guys and who's the bad guys, because Hannah is SO GOOD at keeping you guessing through out! I will say that if there is any negative for me is that there aren't enough Faith elements. I want more prayers, more Bible verses, etc. There are some mentions, enough that I do feel this is Christian Fiction, BUT I would LOVE MORE!
Another thrilling adventure!

The Women of Wynton's
I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!!!!!
I DIDN'T WANT IT TO END and yet I didn't want to put it down either!
I LOVE the format in that the beginnings of the chapters tell you which characters perspective you are reading from.
I LOVE how Biblical principles are through it all with the characters living out Bible verses. But (and this is THE ONLY negative thing I have to say about this book) I would have personally preferred Bible verses to be added and even more Christian elements. In the beginning there's really nothing and then the author eases readers into the characters Christian faith as the story goes on. I would have LOVED to have more prayers, Bible verses, etc. But there is some in there over time.
I feel like these characters became dear friends that I don't want to leave and I want to visit again and again!
The flow is FANTASTIC for reading out loud (which I do for my Mama). But it is a little choppy at the end of the chapters a bit as far as time line, I don't truly count this as a negative because it added to the mystery aspect of the story. Though I have one note to the publisher: it would have been best if along with the heading of the chapter saying the characters name we also had the date; so as a reader we know we jumped days.
I WANT ANOTHER BOOK WITH THESE CHARACTERS! <3
