Never Forgotten by Hannah Linder

HANNAH HAS DONE IT AGAIN!  This twisty story keeps you hopping until the end!  Throwing you right into the characters lives and troubles all you can do is try to hang on and keep up as each new layer is revealed!  The pace is FAST and exciting!  I've always loved Hannah's pacing because every scene matters and nothing is wasted.  You are NEVER left with a feeling of "Why is that scene in there? It had nothing to do with the story and was just filler." OH NO!  EVERY scene has purpose!  She makes you feel like you are in the very skin of the characters, feeling every emotion.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE how she keeps her characters moving so when or if they miss something important to the mystery and even though I, as the reader, picked it up I don't feel like the characters are blind or not smart enough for catching it.  If they miss anything they have a GOOD REASON! LOL!  I will say a warning here and hope you don't consider it a spoiler alert, the book description alludes to it so I don't think it is, but there is a fire scene.  I don't particularly like fire scenes myself and I know they can REALLY bother some people so I wanted to make sure people know ahead of time and are prepared.  Once again Hannah's story is SO FULL AND COMPLEX I'm rereading it RIGHT after finishing it, it's just that good to! ;) I particularly love reading it again knowing who's the good guys and who's the bad guys, because Hannah is SO GOOD at keeping you guessing through out!  I will say that if there is any negative for me is that there aren't enough Faith elements.  I want more prayers, more Bible verses, etc.  There are some mentions, enough that I do feel this is Christian Fiction, BUT I would LOVE MORE!

Another thrilling adventure!

Of Gold and Shadows by Michelle Griep

WHAT A FANTASTIC READ!  Full of twists and adventure!  I LOVE these characters so much even the ones I wasn't sure I was going to or even some of the ones I probably shouldn't LOL!  The pace is excellent never dragging, and I am so happy that while there are some gothic touches nothing got too graphically grotesque like some others have.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the way Michelle handles curses that go along with Egyptian artifacts especially Ami's view of them.  I really enjoyed the characters expressing their Faith in prayers and in their conversations though I will say I would have loved it if there had been some Bible verses added; even just one would have been a nice addition I think.  As soon as I finished reading I wanted to start the book all over again!  If you are looking for a Christian female Indiana Jones THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU!

*I received a copy of the book from the publisher for the purpose of reviewing it.  This in no affected my opinion about the book.

Hope Like Wildflowers

5 STARS
SO GOOD! I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH! When I first read the first in this series I had NO IDEA that Kizzie's story would be SO GOOD! In truth I struggled with the first read due to some character issues and then I LOVED the second one, but this one I think may be my favorite of them all! Kizzie's mentioned throughout the series making a mystery that piqued my interest and I was so exacted to finally read her story! This is one of the most beautiful fiction stories of redemption I think I have ever had the pleasure to read! The characters are FANTASTIC, the flow and pace of the story is just right, the humor laced throughout the drama keeps the balance nice, AND THE WRAP UP ENDING IS BEAUTIFUL! If you've read the other two you MUST read this one, AND if you're looking for a fantastic story of True Love, redemption, and reconciliation this is a MUST READ!
