Review: A Bride Most Begrudging

~I LOVE the Faith in this book! I LOVE how many Bible verses are included and how they are used in real life situations! I LOVE THE PRAYERS SO MUCH! I LOVE that the character's lessons in their personal relationship with God. AND I LOVE how there's even subtle messages you have to pay attention for and know God's sovereignty to catch and understand!
~I LOVE THE HUMOR in this story! There are SO MANY scenes I laughed SO HARD!
~ I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS!
~This book does have one VERY sad part in it, but it gives such a depth to the story!
~Overall this is a wonderful, fun story that will leave you with something to chew on even after you've finished! I just LOVE a story with meat to the plot instead of just fluff!

Time is short. That's the phrase I just heard in my spirit as I began this post. I always pray before I write my posts, asking the Lord to direct me to speak what He wants me to speak for the encouragement of the Bride, and also to issue warnings.  I see many warnings in our world at the moment. 

 

Very interesting that they saw the need to release another Covid Variant, which of course is more deadly and virulent than the last one. And now, it's sweeping across Asia and Europe! Of course it is. Isn't it also interesting that Pfizer has their 4th shot all ready for the new double variant Hmm.

 

The Ukraine Deception

Both Zelensky and Putin are puppets of the Global Elite. Don't believe for a minute that Zelensky is a hero. He's an actor (actually true)  who is playing a part. Many on the right think Putin is working with Trump to get rid of the Bio-weapons labs and corruption in Ukraine, but how can that be when Putin is one of them?  Please wake up, People!  The US and Ukraine have a long history. We have initiated riots and coups and set up the current puppet government. Zelensky is a homosexual NAZI, an actor, placed in history for a time such as this.

Disturbing alert: It appears from newly found documents that the US has been directing it's bioweapons labs in Ukraine to develop and test bioweapons on unsuspecting populations through a variety of medium, including insects.   I know it's very hard for Americans who love their country to hear things like that, but our government has been very evil for some time now.

Outraged editor at Russian TV station stopped a broadcast shouting No War. They are lying to you.  

 

Very interesting that the world seems to be praising Zelensky right now. He's addressing every major government, receiving standing ovations, and being hailed a hero across the world. And he's Jewish. Hmm. Things that make you go Hmm.  

Interesting also that we are hearing more about Iran going nuclear soon and rising tensions with Israel. Remember Russia has a strong presence in Syria and is an ally of Iran. In fact, in an article below, you'll see that Russian forces were spotted along Israel's border. Can anyone say Gog-Magog? (Read Ezekiel 38)  I believe the rapture occurs at some point around this prophesied war.

Then, of course we have China threatening to invade Taiwan any day now, and North Korea (not wanting to be left out) is testing some very serious missiles and making alliances with Russia and China. What could go wrong? World War 3 could start at any moment on multiple fronts.

And one more thing. Governments are pushing for digital currency. When the dollar collapses (and it will because the world is pulling away from it as the petro dollar) then they will initiate the Great Reset and everyone will go to digital currency. Just one more step in prophecy toward the Mark of the Beast.

Could the Deep State be planning a bioweapons attack and then blame it on the Russians?

 

So what are the Four Horses of the Apocalypse? (Revelation 6:1-7)

• Antichrist
• War
• Famine
• Death
  

What are we seeing on earth right now? We see ALL of them except the Antichrist has not been revealed. But War, Famine, and Death are all being set up to go like horses restrained at the gate of a race. We see them. We feel their presence. We hear the snort of their nostrils and their hooves pounding the dirt. We are just waiting for the trumpet to blow, that glorious trumpet that will BOTH rescue us and open the gate to start the race, setting those horses off and running.  That is how close we are. We won't be here for the unveiling of the first horse.

 

The fourth horse, death, is given power to kill 25% of the population of earth. That's 2 BILLION people.  How many know Jesus or will know Him? How many won't make the rapture because they've been deceived and are even now following a false Christ? This is what upsets me the most. My heart is for those who claim Christ but who don't know Him at all. 

 

How can anyone who knows Biblical prophecy not see how it is being fulfilled everywhere? There is no more time. The hour glass has run out.

The Great Revival/Awakening Movement is a lie. It is cloaked in Christianity but will lead to New Age. New Age is just a reformatted and repackaged brand of Satan worship. New Age leads to the light bearer. Christ consciousness is the idea that humanity must achieve a certain level of spiritual awareness and enlightenment and then Jesus returns to live among men. This is all deception and satanism. Trump is just a pawn in this game. Whether he knows it or not, I have no idea. I tend to believe he does. But the Bible warns us not of follow any man and not to rely on the things of this world. In fact, we are to separate ourselves from the world!

-For me this story needs A LOT more Christian elements. I longed for Scripture, prayer, even thinking about The Almighty and what He would want them to do in certain situations, but only a few mentions of church, a Bible, and praying are mildly included. There were even times I wanted to scream and the characters PRAY ABOUT IT!
-I love the characters, mostly the female ones though, as I found personalities I could relate to and the flaws in the male lead rubbed me the wrong way at times! Most times he is not my favorite.
-The settings are fantastically written and highly entertaining.
-This is one of the most unique stories I have come across and I found myself completely surprised at the turns it took at times. Though I will say at times there were scenes, things, decisions, I wanted to be completely different.
-Drama drama drama LOL!
-As a Christian woman that is single I appreciate Laurie's "fade to black" moments when it comes to the two main characters marital relations, though still a lot of the scenes and language is more risqué than I like. This is definitely not for younger audiences.
-Overall I'm not sure this can be classified as a Christian fiction book and I REALLY would have enjoyed it more if there where A LOT of Christian elements with in the story instead of the few off handed mentions of prayer and church.

Cross and Cutlass: Get Your Affairs in Order. It's time to leave!: I am not a prophet. I am not a date-setter. In truth, I'm just a lowly romance novelist who submitted herself to the Lord for His use. I decided long ago when I began to write novels that I would write stories that contained the Gospel message, glorified God, and brought people closer to Him. I knew I would NEVER reach the New York Times Best seller list. I knew I'd never be immensely popular in this world because my messages were strong and true and from the Lord. If the world loved me, then I would be of the world. But because the world hated me, I know that I am following Jesus. It reminds me of that verse that says God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, for if you knew me, you might think I'm pretty foolish. But isn't that like our God? 

 

I started this blog many years ago with the intent to help market my books, but it slowly morphed into a ministry and in the past 5 years, the Lord called me to wake up the sleeping church and prepare the Bride to leave. 

It's interesting that the pastors I listen to on You Tube are not popular, don't have huge followings, and are generally poor and lowly. Yet when I asked the Lord to keep me in truth and away from deception, He led me to these great men of God. None of them are particularly smart or charismatic, yet each have an undeniable gifting from the Lord. One has a wonderful prophetic gift, the other has great discernment, and the last one has an incredible understanding of Hebrew and Biblical gematria. Never have they all been on the same page as they are now. And they are all saying we are going home soon!

Like I said, I am no prophet, but I walk in the light. I am immensely flawed, but I walk in repentance and submission to my Savior. I follow Jesus and love Him with all my heart. And because of that and the fact that I watch for Him, I believe I can sense His soon return.

 

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Revelation 3:3

 

So, we will KNOW THE HOUR if we watch.  Are you watching? Or are you watching for Trump to return, for the Great Awakening, the Rise of the Church for a Great Revival? Or perhaps you're watching for the Tribulation to begin because you don't believe in the rapture.

1 Thessalonians 5:3-6 KJV

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

Hence, those of us who are watching and walking in the light (a daily relationship with Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit) we will KNOW when the return of Jesus is near. You can argue with me, but I'm just giving you Scripture.

 

Here's another great passage 

Revelation 3:10-11 KJV

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Notice the word "From". It is the Greek Word ek  

It denotes exit or emission out of, as separation from, something with which there has been close connection; out of, away from 

So Jesus used the word From not through.  We are going to be delivered out of this world, away from the world. 

Luke 21:34-36 KJV

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

The word "Escape" in the above passage is the Greek Word ekpheugō    to flee out:—escape, flee. to seek safety in flight  (I love that it says flight! Because that's what we will do.. fly up to the clouds to be with Jesus!)

So, why do I think the Lord is coming back soon? I sense it in my spirit. I listen for His voice. I listen to what the prophets (true ones) are saying, and I see ALL the signs. In all my years of watching, I've never felt this sure, felt this excited, and felt this much at peace.  

So the word from the Lord today is, Get your affairs in order. 

If you're committing wilful sin, stop it and repent and ask the Lord to forgive you and help you.

If you're concerned about future plans and caught up in the things of this world, put your mind at ease. None of what you are worried about now matters a bit. Yes, we need to make certain plans, but if you're concerned about long term plans, forget them. All that matters now is your salvation and the salvation of your loved ones, and that you do the will of God and finish well!

Spend more time reading the Bible

Spend more time praying

Spend more time talking to Jesus

Spend more time witnessing to others

Praise and worship the soon coming King

Fava beans

Matthew 28:6 KJV 

He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

It was my first time growing Fava beans.  I prayed and pressed the giant seed into the soil, watered it, and waited.  I was so excited when that first shoot shot up through the ground!  Like many other beans it grew quickly, so fast in fact it was like you could see it growing before your very eyes!  LOL!  But even as it grew taller and taller, and even though it put on these cute little pairs of leaves marching up the stock, that was it...no flowers....not beans.  Still I patiently tended, waited, and watched.  Then wonder of wonders a second shoot shot up out of the ground from the base, and the original stock's leaves started to brown and die.  As it died the new stock grew and became strong and lovely just like the first stalk had started.  After prayer and a desire to have the plant put forth it's energy towards the life instead of the dying stalk I cut away the original stalk.  "Now it will flower and produce beans!" I thought, but alas I watched as, just like the first stalk, the second stalk grew up tall, but didn't flower.  Pressing on I watered, prayed, watched some more.  And what do you know a third stalk started growing!  Just like the first stalk the second started to die and become brown while the new stalk thrived and grew.  Just like the first two stalks this new one grew the sweetest pairs of leaves marching up the stalk, but the other day I looked and there they were THE FLOWERS!  At least three of the prettiest black and white flowers I've ever seen sat at the top of the stalk!  And then it struck me at how this is a picture of Easter!  After Jesus was laid in the tomb those two days must have been excruciation for those that loved Him.  Life went on, but the death, disappointment, and shock remained.  But then on that third day Jesus arose from the dead and as a reminder there on the third stalk sits those beautiful blooms and promise of new life!
