Book Description:
Silent Night: As Christmas day nears, Bree and her faithful search-and-rescue dog Samson follow the trail of a troubling mystery into the snowy forests of Rock Harbor.
Bree Matthews is preparing for Christmas guests, but her heart is reeling from the recent and tender loss of her unborn child. Her sister-in-law, Lauri, suddenly turns up on the doorstep of the lighthouse home Bree shares with her husband, Kade, in Rock Harbor. Secretive and withdrawn, Lauri seems curiously intent on discovering what happened to a parachuter who disappeared in the North Woods along Lake Superior's icy shore.
As Bree and Samson, her search-and-rescue dog, plunge into the search, Bree wonders if Lauri may know more than she's admitted about the parachuter. And then the clues lead them to the trail of a young woman whose family fears the worst about her disappearance.
Will the search on this snowy, silent night lead Bree and Samson to more than clues about the missing girl? And will Bree's prayer for a baby ever be answered?

Love Love Love this novella!!! And this author!!! I love the characters and their relationships especially Bree and Kade's! I love the mystery and the excitement and I absolutely LOVE the end!!! This in my first Rocky Harbor book and it only made me want to read more!!! I MUST see how all these characters started. I really enjoy all the different occupations and aspects especially the search and rescue. I really love the way Colleen writes and the whole flow of the story; blending some humor with mystery with difficult situations. The only thing that left me wanting...was I want MORE!!! I wish this book had gone on and on. But if you're looking for a great quick read this is a MUST READ for you! It's a beautiful story filled with Faith, Hope, growing up, and coming together!

Holy Night: One sinister phone call has derailed their wedding. Will they let it tear them apart forever?
A Christmas wedding on the beach---what could be more perfect? Poinsettias and fragrant pikake blossoms, soft sand and mistletoe, the gentle sound of the surf and the wedding march played on a ukulele. This wedding has been a long time coming, with Bane's trust issues and Leia's worries about her childlike sister, Eva.
Now they can hardly wait for the day to arrive. Thrilled to be a bridesmaid, Eva keeps trying on her ruffled dress. The tent is reserved, the caterers paid. Everything is going as planned---until Leia's phone rings and her world skids out of control. A muffled voice informs Leia that Eva's been kidnapped and will be killed unless Leia calls off the wedding without explanation---and no police! If she disobeys instructions and tells Bane, she'll risk her beloved sister's life. But how can she ever handle this without his help? And how can he ever trust her if she lies to him now?
This Novella was really entertaining! This is yet another glimpse of a series that I REALLY WANT TO READ NOW!!! LOL! Just a taste of all of these great characters has left me wanting to read the series and discover more and more about them! Colleen comes up with the most unique and lovable characters. I did feel a little frustrated at times, but that was just because I was rooting for this couple so hard and circumstance kept popping up and pushing them apart! This could have been a whole novel instead of just a novella and I would have eaten it up though with the suspense in some scenes I was happy it was resolved in just few chapters! :D Happy endings, fabulous scenes, and a love that goes deep is what you'll find in Holy Night and much, much more!

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! Plain Peace for me started nicely, fast paced, and then really got rolling! It is SO much more than what the book description says it is. Filled with great messages of healing, forgiveness, and honesty! The story just got better and better with the introduction of every new character. This is the first in this series I've read as well as by this author and I REALLY want to read more! I absolutely fell in love with the characters as I followed them through there dilemmas. Some of the scenes where hilarious and I laughed so hard while others where so touching. The only thing that I didn't like and depressed me was that I read a review copy from Net Galley and it didn't have the Amish recipes in the back and some of the things in the book sounded amazing! LOL! But those of you that follow my reviews know how crazy I am about recipes! ;) Anyway Plain Peace is an awesome read with interesting and shocking twists that are thoroughly entertaining to the end! A Must Read and a heartwarming book all the way around!

Beautiful! A Christmas Gift for Rose officially kicks off this years Christmas reads for me! And what a great novella to do so. I'm beginning to think that Christmas Novellas are my favorite things to read! Top 5 at least! :) This one starts out around, and in, Thanksgiving and ends on Christmas day with a beautiful gift. Hence the title. Tricia's way of writing is wonderful. Her characters are lovable, at times frustrating, and beautiful all wrapped into one. There are certain tid-bits that Tricia adds that made be laugh and some that nearly brought tears and it's these things that make me love her writing the most. This book is filled with the message of Hope and God's plans. Some of the feelings were frustrating but realistically so. LOL! And the turmoils that continued to affect our veterans after the war are expressed realistically as well. I loved learning how the Amish responded to World War II, and the historical origins of this story. Based on a true story, A Christmas Gift for Rose was all the more touching. A secret, hope, family, finding where one belongs, love, God's provisions, and sacrifice are just the beginning. This is an excellent way to kick off the season and will make a wonderful Thanksgiving/Christmas read! I highly recommend it.
